We are delighted to report substantial progress made by the MaxInMotion® Foundation since its launch nine months ago.
We have worked collaboratively with the major sports franchises in Arizona, as well as the Arizona Youth Soccer Association, to support several thousand scholarships for competitive and recreation youth athletes in the state of Arizona. In addition, we have established MaxInMotion® Wheel Chair basketball and soccer clinics, which will lead to the formation of a MaxInMotion® Wheel Chair League, to be held at the Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL) facility in Phoenix, the first league of its kind in Arizona for youth athletes.
As Max’s father, I am especially proud that this legacy to his life has been so quickly impactful in our community. We have been very fortunate to have strong financial support; monies we have put to work immediately in the creation of scholarship opportunities for soccer, hockey, basketball and baseball players. We plan to carry forward our important work and provide young athletes with opportunities they would not otherwise have available to them.
Please know of our gratitude for your support and encouragement. A great deal of effort by many volunteers and donors has lead to our early success. We are pleased to have done so with no salaried employees and negligible administrative costs.
Warmly,
Jonah Shacknai
